Player development

Each year, Golden Ticket Sports runs over 200 hours of on-court player development camps for all ages and skill levels. These camps are run at various points throughout the year. Some occur annually, for example; Golden Ticket Boys Camp, which invites the top 80 high school basketball players in Regina to a week-long development camp capped with a two day tournament.

Others, like the Golden Ticket Camp at the Warman Legends Centre in August 2021, operate as stand-alone camps aiming to offer high performance training to as many athletes, in as many locations, as possible.

As owners and operators of two multisport facilities (Hoop Factory in Lloydminster, SK, and Golden Ticket Sports Centre in Moose Jaw, SK), Golden Ticket Sports is also able to offer programs on a more consistent basis to their respective communities. In the fall of 2021, both Hoop Factory and the Golden Ticket Sports Centre will offer Elite Development Program for basketball players aged 12-18, developing players over 10 hours of on court instruction, and an additional 10 hours of supervised game play to prepare them for their upcoming high school seasons. Both facilities will also host year long sport development academies in partnership with local school divisions wherein students will be able to travel to either Hoop Factory or the Golden Ticket Sports Centre for sport specific training during school hours. Other camps hosted at Golden Ticket Sports owned facilities include; Christmas Camp, week-long summer camps, Easter Break camp and numerous others that fall on days or weeks where local students are not in school.
